Bladed Attack Assessment
A holistic review of bladed attacks brings together CSI scene imagery, CCTV, body-worn video, hospital records, and post-mortem findings to produce a clinically informed interpretation of how an assault unfolded and what its physiological consequences were. When these strands are assessed together, investigators can gain a coherent, evidence-based understanding of the mechanism of injury, the plausibility of accounts given by suspects or witnesses, and the medical factors that contributed to death.

For detectives managing homicide or serious assault investigations, this assessment allows the medical reality of an injury to be aligned with the behavioural and temporal evidence captured on camera, helping to clarify the sequence of events, the force and direction of blows, and the potential level of trained skill of the wielder.
