DVI operations are coordinated by specialist trained Police Officers and supported by forensic experts such as Forensic Pathologists, Forensic Archaeologists, Forensic Anthropologists, Fingerprint Experts and Forensic Odontologists, to ensure the respectful and dignified recovery and identification of the deceased. Utilising Forensic Archaeologists and Forensic Anthropologists from the outset of an incident, ensures accurate recording of the scene, informed forensic strategies, detailed search and examination methods, and comprehensive recovery enabling accurate identification of the deceased.
