3D Visualisation

3D visualisation can be a powerful tool for conveying complex information. Input data can come from almost any source - hand drawn sketches with measurements. scene photography (handheld or aerial drone), LiDAR scans, GPS Survey data, postmortem photography, DICOM data (CT, MRI, X-ray), satellite imagery and more. This data can be used to convey accurate representation of scene or injury without the need to disclose postmortem photography.

Doctor Analyzing Scans

Common uses of 3D visualisation include the mapping of injuries onto a virtual mannequin that can allow the combination of photography and medical imagery, the 3D reconstruction of complex scenes where photography alone fails to communicate aspects of it, and the encapsulation of wider terrain imagery to put a scene into context.
